||
|
10th - 13th SEPTEMBER 2009
Please register with Coin by 1st of July! ECOVATION/HERITAGE OPEN DAYS If you've done any of the following, it would be great to have you on board: · super insulated your home (interior / exterior) · installed solar thermal / solar electric panels · installed a ground / water source heat pump · installed a wood / pellet / chip burner · used innovative / ecological / reclaimed products · built a straw bale extension · have fantastic rain water harvesting · have a green roof We want to invite you to become part of another Open eco- building event organized by Coin and Climate X Change in September this year. It will be part of the Heritage Open Days, which celebrates England's fantastic architecture and culture. We think that in times of Climate Change eco-renovated and eco-built houses ought to play a major role in this event. Other buildings wanted! If you know of other buildings (offices, village halls, commercial properties) that have installed any of the above, please pass this email onto them, or let us know their contact details so that we can contact them. ![]() To view last year's event, go to http://ecovation.org.uk/htmldesigns/heritageopenday.html By being part of it we hope to bring across the importance of 'Ecovation' and give people a first hand experience of what goes into eco-renovating a house. Feedback from previous years demonstrates how inspiring your homes have been for another – enabling them to take the next step… The event will be held from Thu, 10th 'til Sun, 13th of September 2009, Oxfordshire wide. We intend to publicize it widely in the local media and through community groups. We will provide maps showing all the houses open on the day. Further information about the Ecovation details or the Heritage Open Days you will find on If you would like to be a part of this project we would like you to:
